Bandana Bandanas

I have a site I am working on, www.Bandana-bandanas.com that I would like to get your opinions on. It is going to be a site filled with Bandanas and durags, skull caps and even bandanas for your dog. While it is new I was hoping to get some input so that as I am building it I can change it.

It is always nice to get a fresh idea or different view of the site that is whay I turn to you guys. I am still doing the corn hole thing just looking to start something new as well. Its hard to believe it is 2009 already so I am hitting it hard with new sites and fresh ideas. If your looking for a bandana then definitely check this site out.

Cornhole on Ebay

We have a couple sets of cornhole games on eBay. They are our scratch and dent sale games, or un finished corn toss boxes. The damage is very minor, nothing a coat of paint cant fix. I just checked out cornhole on About.com and they have some really useful information too. If you dont find all the information your looking for here try doing a Google search or you can check out hub pages too tons of good information. The Day from Hell

You ever just wake up on the wron side of the bed, know that its going to be a bad day before you even get your feet on the floor? Well today wasnt like that at all. I took about 3 hours before it all started. I wont go in to long boring details but it was a rough one. Anyway I have spent the last 12 hours online so whats another ten minutes. Imanaged to create a new blog today, cornholegame1.wordpress.com. I didnt want the 1 but it seems i was not the first one who wanted it so oh well.

Cornhole Game 1 is going to be dedicated to strictly cornhole where as this blog is more general. Here we’ll cover cornhole and all similiar games. Well my ten minutes is up so gotta go

Compact Cornhole

If you travel a lot you might sswant to think about getting Some compact cornhole boards. A set of these boards shouldn’t cost too much more than regular boards. They are the same size as regulation cornhole boards but they fold in half. It makes it a lot easier to put in your back seat or trunk. We don’t have any information on our cornboards site but with a yahoo or googlesearch you should be able to find them with no problem. I will but a page over at our cornhole information site for these. Its getting that time of year also to be thinking about Christmas gifts. If your looking already corntoss games make a great birthday or Christmas gift.

Finally the Rain

We haven’t seen a good rain all summer, now that everything is practically dead, we get the rain. Well you definitely cant play cornhole in the rain. Well you could if you were die hard but your cornhole bags would get wet and soggy. I think I have heard of people lining their bags with plastic on the inside but I don’t know how well that would work. Indoor tournaments should be starting soon and many of the local bars are joining in on the action with indoor cornhole for the winter. I am going to build a indoor cornhole page over at www.cornboards.com soon so be sure to check it out. If you you know of places that have indoor corntoss lets us know and we will add it to the page. Well I guess that’s all for now I have to get back to work. I pretty much just do this in my spare time, I seo websites aka optimize them one of them I will plug that is definitely up and coming leescountryrv.com. They carry a full line of travel trailers, fifth wheels and motorhomes.

Its getting colder

Well have you tried my cornhole candle idea yet? It really helps, anyway it is getting colder out there and its time to move the corntoss games indoors for the winter. If you dont have enough room you could always get tournaments going and rent a hall once a week. It should only cost about about a hundred bucks or less and if you have ten friends that like to play the bean bag games then it will only cost ten bucks each. Not bad eh? Well keep your game on till next time

Strawberry candles

Ok this is part two I guess, I just wanted to mention that we burn strawberry candles in our candle holders. It seems that for some reason that the strawberry candles last a lot longer than any of the other ones. Here’s the problem, I cant remember what brand they were. You can try different brands and see which ones burn longer for you but the ones we burn will last about three weekends. They cost about 4 bucks a piece but we all chip in. If you have any tips for cornhole or accessories that go with it give us a shout and we’ll share it. We hope that you enjoy the information and tips you find here. Cornhole Candles

Do you ever have to put the cornhole set up early because it got dark? Well if you wanted to play a little longer I can tell you how. You will need 4′ piece’s of all thread, two nuts to match the threads on the all-thread and 2-2inch PVC caps. Now what you need to do is drill a hole in the center of the bottom of the PVC caps. Then place a nut on the all thread about 3/4 of an inch down the all thread. Then place the PVC cap on the all thread and then put the other nut on to tighten down the pvc cap. Basically you have made a holder for a candle. These should be elevated enough to see well into the night. Just place a candle in to each one you made, 4 work the best. Cornhole candles can be made pretty cheap and without taking too long.

How to build Cornhole Boards

Dont start sweating yet, Let me tell you in plain english how to Build cornhole boards. This is easy I swear. These plans work for Baggo, Corntoss, Tailgate Toss and Bean Bag Toss.

Here is the materials you will need.

A 4′x4′x1/2″ or thicker sheet of plywood. The smoother the better.
4 - 2x4x8′s
screws

Ok here we go, Cut the plywood in two so you have 2- 2′x4′ pieces.

Cut your 2×4′s you will need 4-48″s long for the sides and 4-21″s long for the fronts and backs

now lay a frame of 2 48″ boards with two 21″ boards in between them and lay the plywood on top.

Make sure all the edges are pretty flush and then screw down the plywood to the 2×4′s

Then from one end measure down 9″s somewhere close to center and put a line then from a side measure over 12″s and put a line. You need to draw the lines out until they cross. That point is center for your hole. Now center that with your 6″ hole saw and drill your hole. If you dont have a hole saw then measure out 3″ around the cross you made and use a jig saw.

Now the Legs, Cut 2 12″ 2x4s and then fasten them to the inside frame at the end with the hole

now make your other Cornhole Board and go play cornhole
